Trombone exhibition at Atelier Goncharov as part of Masterclass Povoletto 2026
From 5 to 7 June 2026, a three-day master class was held at the EURITMIA School of Music (Povoletto, Italy), culminating in a series of bright concerts at the Auditorium Comunale and Domus Magna.
The invited guests and teachers of the event were Giuliano Rizzotto, Artur Turavets, Victor Alvarez Alegria and Alexey Shablyko.
One of the key events was the Atelier Goncharov trombone exhibition, where participants and guests could get to know handmade instruments live, evaluate their sound, mechanics and ergonomics.
All participants and guests of the festival highly appreciated the quality of the trombones, their intonational flexibility and sound projection, noting their impeccable balance, responsiveness in the upper register and stability of structure — characteristics especially important for orchestral and solo work.
The exhibition aroused great interest not only among professionals, but also among the students of the master class, who were able to compare different models and get advice from representatives of the Atelier.
The determining value in the timbre of an instrument depends on this detail. We made bocals from brass, copper, and silver.
The production of wind instruments is one of our priority goals and we are hardly working to achieve it!
